Mark Chao, the co-lead actor for the massively hit Taiwanese drama “Black & White”, said today that if Vic Chou doesn’t want to be in the movie version of “Black & White”, then he doesn’t either. Chao went on to say, if there’s no “ruffian (black)”, then there’s no “Black & White.”Mark didn’t play the hero from that show today, but he did play the part as “Store Supervisor Mark” for a convenience store café, personally handing out cups of coffee to ten lucky people at the shop’s first day opening.
After winning “Best New Actor” at the Golden Bell Awards, Mark didn’t defend himself for the continuous negative press coverage he had been receiging, but instead gave a tearful speech during the ceremony. He later jokingly said “If I’m going to fake tears, then I’m also going to fake being handsome a bit.”
Mark also said, “In fact, I have no problems with people who strongly believe in themselves.” He later said that one person he cares about is Vic Chou. After the Golden Bell Awards ceremony, the two lead actors of “Black & White” have been keeping in contact by phone, MSN, and text messaging.

Plans for filming a movie version of “Black & White” are currently in the works. Chao said that before they shoot, he’ll watch the drama version again a 100 times. Regarding Vic turning down the role, Mark said, “If there’s no ruffian (black), how are you going to shoot “Black & White?” Outside sources said that if Vic doesn’t want to be in the movie version, then they’re thinking about removing the “black (ruffian)” part of the original drama’s name. Mark said that he was not aware of anything about that.

The Flot of new ZZ's film

From what one of the VIC fan posted at the news section, she mentioned that this is a youth comedy movie which fulled with happiness. The story is about a foreign Japanese student who was assign to come to Taiwan to work who have a destinated love(it started with enemy but turn to love in the end)with a pure Taiwanese rock and roll music singer(i think this must be Zai Zai...hahaha!)Both of them didn't fall in love at first sight which mean both didn't fall in love with each other when both meet for the first time. But somehow in an unlucky day, both have good feelings towards each other but very soon the Japanese student will finished her work and will be leaving Taiwan.Because the Taiwanese guy doesnt like each time give out promises like 'love her forever' or 'marriage' relationships...( i think the taiwanese guy dont like to promise anything if he knows the girl will go back Japan and he doesnt like to promise her with promises like he will wait for her forever in taiwan or engage first,he doesnt like this kind of relationships) So he sign a 'love you one hundred days' contract with the Japanese girl. This contract is after being together for one hundred days, both must agree to split up.Soon reaching one hundred days, then only both discover that during this period of love between two of them, both already indirectly give out true love towards each other. Both seems like doesnt want to split up but because of self-ego (both dont want to lose to each other because of their own face, they feel embarrassed if admit fall in love with each other and doesnt follow the contract rules)Both also doesnt want to be the first to break the promise/contract!

After competing at the Golden Bell Awards, 'ruffian' Vic Zhou (Zai Zai) & 'hero' Mark Chao are about to face off again! Recently, Zai Zai's camera advertisement was released on televison & online and even the MRT has displayed a huge billboard, making it difficult not to see. And as for Mark Chao who seemed to have disappeared for a while, his human cut-out has been displayed outside stores and today, he will also make an appearance for his coffee advertisement. The 2 ads will be played on television frequently, and not only must the 2 compete for popularity, they will also be competing for who can sell more of their product.
Although Zai Zai lost at the Golden Bell Awards, his new camera advertisement, filmed at Sun Moon Lake gives off a very artistic feeling & texture. Promotions began with sending out large posters, online promotions, 3C pathway, and then they targeted the MRT. Recently, television stations have also been heavily broadcasting the ad. Zai Zai's manager expressed: "Everyone has commented about the fine texture, and Zai Zai himself is also very pleased with it."
Zai Zai received a 7-digit sum for the ad, but this is a small number compared to the potential hundred million dollars they may gain back in revenue. Zai Zai will also be holding a rally event, and currently they are arranging his schedule. Due to filming effects, in the ad, the already handsome Zai Zai gives off an even more handsome & manly appearance. And he expressed: "This is a must-have, our company is full of handsome men (Takeshi Kaneshiro, and Wu Zun also recently joined), so the advertisement has to be even more handsome."
After Mark Chao & his father Allen Chao filmed a coffee advertisement together, there were rumours that the father-and-son were not on good terms. Earlier, they declined Yu Mei Ren's invitation to attend her show. This ad will also be heavily broadcasted from today, and is already causing a hot topic amongst the public. Mark will also make an appearance today, and hot topics such as the 'Golden Bell curse' and his relationship with his father are bound to be the focus of attention, but this will also work to the advertisement's advantage. And with the 'ruffian' and 'hero' releasing ads at the same time, who will be more popular and who will be able to sell more of their product?
