The ever-lovable Zai has not even attended school for two months and
he had already angered some other students? Our newspaper received a
letter from a reader called Ah Fa1, and the contents of the letter
pointed to 2 main things namely: Zai has been missing too many
lessons; the number of days of leave Zai have had had exceeded the
number allowed by the school - this is very unfair to the rest of
the
students.

Zai's manager, Chai Zhiping said that as Zai had studied the first
year modules at his previous school, there are some modules which he
need not take. Others may have to study for up to 16 hours, but
Zai's
current timetable only includes 'Economics' on friday, 'Arts and
Life' on saturday, and 'Maths' on sunday, and he only need to attend
2 hours of lessons every day, hence it could have led to some
misunderstandings by the other students.

But, this reader, Ah Fa said rather unhappily that since school
started from 18th Sep till now, he had only seen Zai at the
beginning
of the semester, and the school rules state that even if a student
had applied for leave, if he had missed 6 lessons for a single
module, he'll fail that module, but it had been more than 6 weeks
since school started and nothing had happened to Zai at all.

Also, the school rules state that taking leave for a lesson will
result in a demerit point, and Zai has been taking leave - the total
points is 80, and a week is worth 16 lessons, if u calculate based
on
that, it won't be long before Zai will be declared as having failed.

But the thing that made other students really unhappy is that
usually, it's not easy for a student to get leave from school, but
Zai actually have had succeeded so many times - this is practically
a
case of double standards.

Also, many students have voiced out their thoughts and that is they
feel that since Zai don't need to come to school, if he still passes
his mid year exams, then wouldn't it be awkward for the other
students who attends school regularly but still score badly for the
exams?

Zai will be having his mid year exams next week, but starting from
this thursday, Zai will have to go to china to start off a series of
F4 concerts, and he will only be able to return to taiwan on next
thursday, hence he's bound to be missing lessons this week. Also,
the
minute he comes back, he'll be having his exams, add that to him
having to film MG2, one can imagine the amount of pressure he's
under. Zai had also confessed that he's not confident of passing
every subject, especially 'Maths', but he'll try his best.

Zai's manager, Jiang Yipeng expressed that he had long told Zai that
he must self-study or borrow notes from his classmates during film
breaks, but Ah Fa said that Zai is totally not compatible with
everyone else, and nobody will ever lend him notes.

If Zai cannot get a school to take him in, he'll be bound for army,
and Jiang said frankly that it's not important for Zai to be able to
graduate, what's more important is that his status must be that of a
student, only then will it delay Zai's duty to national service.

Jiang emphasized that at Zai's previous school, the company did not
keep in check the number of leave Zai had applied, hence resulting
in
Zai having missed too many lessons. Having learnt that lesson, this
time round, they have been applying leave for Zai according to the
school rules. Since school first started, they have had already
calculated the number of days of leave per week Zai can take, and
they make sure that he attends lessons as required.
